CHILDREN
CHILDREN PROGRAM
The
mission of our program is to support at-risk and underprivileged
children in community to create an admirable life for children.
Volunteers will be working in Buikwe, Mukono, and Buloba
Each center encompasses a primary school, secondary school, and a Church serving children aged from 4 weeks to 18 years.
These centers not only serve the children but also engage with the local communities.
Volunteers play a vital role in these centers by providing care for the
children and assisting in Teaching English and other essential life
skills as feel like.
Project Goals:
Offer essential support to vulnerable children in Uganda.
- Enhance the future opportunities for at-risk children.
- Provide impoverished children with quality care, compassion, and hope.
- Facilitate cultural exchange benefiting both local communities and international volunteers.
Participants will engage in caring for children and assisting the local team as needed.
Tasks
Tasks
may include organizing playtime, leading arts and crafts, and providing
support in meals, hygiene, and HIV/AIDS education. Volunteers will work
closely with local staff at least a commitment of two weeks but not
limited,
Also may involve - Caring for the children - Assisting with homework
- Interacting with and attending to the children
- Creating activities and entertaining them with games
- Supporting administrative tasks and the overall operation
MEET
TALINDEKA JANET
She
is the Children department leader in Buikwe zone and a nurse at HIA
healthy center. Also caring for a number of Volunerabel children in the
community. And a teacher of Sunday school children at Buikwe full
gospel Church.
